For Newbies in Blogging

Dear Reader,

*This is an attempt to review this site as a requirement in the Kaye & Pehpot's Blogversary Contest*

The name of the blog is: Novice on Blogging. This blog is authored by Pehpot. Novice on Blogging as the subtitle goes would be about Tips and Techniques on Blogging and Online Earning. I do believe that it's a must read for bloggers contemplating on seriously earning money online. Bloggers from the Philippines can really learn from her specially about how to get that coveted paypal account, where you can store your earnings from your blogging. One of her helpful posts would be about How to Apply for EON Card, which is the number one choice for those who don't have a credit card and still want to have a paypal account. Another thing worth mentioning is that most bloggers who do earn online, do so by joining paid review sites, and when you do paid reviews or if your blog is "pr friendly" then writing a disclosure policy is one of a must-do. In the case of the biggest blogging contest in the blogging universe in terms of prizes, their major requirements are to do reviews. Novice on Blogging gives you the step by step, the long method and the quick guide on just how to review for a blog. You can easily peruse her blog's archives to know what I'm talking about. The blog also provides links to various blogs that may be of interest to you and the layout is neat, clean, and crisp. I could spend hours just reading the posts and learning more about how to blog. Another thing that you need since I'm guessing if you're here in my blog, you'd be writing reviews for other contests, I found this wordcount tool at NOOB and well, it's very useful.
For sure if you want to learn more about blogging and earning online, this is the blog to read.

Mommy Moments: Language of Love

mommy moments
Being a stay at home mom, and reviewing what Mommy Chris has to say about the Language of Love, I guess it all applies to us. Of the 5 Languages of Love, I love practicing Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch. As a stay at home mom, I think I get to use all the languages in a day . I'm the lazy type but being a stay at home mom means juggling between a lot of things. They like to receive gifts too but they're not spoiled by us yet, mostly their grandparents and godparents though. Maegan likes all the languages of love but demands more quality time and more acts of service. On the other hand, she uses words of affirmation and loves to hug. Paul is little by little doing the same things his sister does.

More languages of love?

Babies and Contests Blog Review

To quote what Babies and Contests is all about:

This site is dedicated to all the mothers who love to join their wonderful babies to different contests around the globe.

This site was created to provide various information of different contests over the internet , magazines and newspapers.

The blog lives up to its promise and is now hosting a contest of its own that is open to 0-6 months old babies! The site is filled with photos of babies in the running for Wonderful Baby of the Month! The blog is also a magazine type layout. The blog is for contest hunters like me. It provides tons of information for contests or giveaways open to the Philippines. So if you're a giveaway addict, Babies and Contests is a must-read. You also get valuable information on contests for your kids. If you're the type that loves the exposure for your kids, well, this site is definitely for you. She really knows how to join contests and win, you can read her entry about her winnings here. It's amazing how many times she's won, her exposure in magazines and newspapers astounds me. I'm in the midst of a celebrity! Layout wise is pretty cute, befitting its topic and theme of babies. I just love the photo of her daughter and slideshow of contestants. What more can you ask for? Definitely a must-read blog for all moms like you and me.

Reviewing My Journey to Life

I first met Ria as the winner of Online Mommy's contest. She won and my prize contribution was a post signature. I had to ask her whether it was Mel, Ria, or Melandria, Melandria is her daughter. She's Ria. So the post signature at her site is made by me. She was so easy to work with and she made quick choices. I made the decision however to do everything in Pink, to match her layout. Speaking of layouts, her blog layout is truly unique, and she made it herself. It's magazine type and her footer has all sorts of link lists categorized to what other blog you might be looking for. Her posts mostly consists of contests and she's a new addition to couchers! She likes to join blog carnivals and tells personal stories about her daughter. She also likes movies.
She enjoys blogging and joining contests. As far as I've seen, she has been very lucky. She's won a lot of contests already. So if you're looking for recent contests, stories of raising a child, mommy moments or a pick for a movie, go and visit her site. It will surely have something to offer to you.
Just one thing to add, since this is a review and I hope she takes it constructively. I was looking for her archives, I couldn't see one. I think an archive is needed in a blog for your new readers to learn more about you. But it might just be my browser. So, if you know Ria and she has an archive that I can't see, can you tell me? Thanks.
