To: Kikamz

I'm not a Marce. I stole this banner from Ms. Pehpot. My wrist is in a sling of some sort. I just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday even if I'm posting this so late. That's all.

Letters That I'll Never Send: Dear Movie Director:

Can't write a long letter. Struggling with the keyboard. My right hand is in a sling of some sort.

Dear Movie Director:

I hope that there will be more movies that will touch me to the core. Make my kids laugh, make me cry, make my hubby cringe in fright, delight in action sequences that totally blow up a lot of things. More of stories like lord of the rings, harry potter, narnia, and percy jackson. Great kids movies that my kids would love and appreciate now. That's all.

Besides the mall, where do my kids go??

My kids love to go to the mall. Maybe since, it's so easily pronounced. Where do you want to go? "MALL!" moll, schmoll. Sometimes, my little boy, in a fit on inspiration would shout "Arylle's house", that's their cousin who they like to play with even if she's 8.

One of the places where my kids feel so much at home, even if I try them not to..is drumroll please. The Bank.
Yes, crazily, the bank is where my kids love to play. Perhaps it's the environment? Or maybe the friendly staff of our bank. The bank manager loves to interview them and the one handling the account/s of their grandmother loves talking to my kids and asking questions. My kids, in turn, love answering the questions, asks for candies, gets curious about the computers and runs around the place.

But the thing most loved by my kids when they go to the banks are the crowd control items.
This is actually a stanchion and is used in making queues at the bank. My kids however, love to play with the belt, pulling it, or stepping on it and most of all, using it and playing with it in limbo rock. These are actually very useful in banks, and in schools, usually I see them during registration or enrollment period in big universities and mostly banks.

I think different kinds are also used during concerts or awards night where celebrities are just beyond your reach and are behind the velvet rope. I just love watching the celebrities parade specially during the Oscars, you know that as they go through that red carpet and slip through those cubicles barricaded with velvet rope, you are able to distinguish the celebrities from the press and the personal assistants.

It's the Bangus festival in Dagupan today, we saw barricades being setup since there was going to be street dancing. We went to the mall, the bank, and we visited Paul's pediatrician because he was scheduled for a vaccination. Thankfully, he cried just a little and was a very good boy. He was rewarded with a visit to the mall and the mall's play area and of course, his favorite snack.

Summer...Hot...Hot..Hot.

I'm dreaming of a summer vacation. But so far, all I have lined up are visits to doctors. We're all undecided as to whether Maegan should be enrolled in a crash course this summer. It's about preparing your child for the big school. For those who don't know, or curious as to why she has to enroll or not... well, she didn't finish toddler school. She only attended school for 3 months.

She had 9 sessions this summer, but it's more playing and music than learning. So, hubby and I are still negotiating on our plans. If she doesn't attend summer classes, I hope we can take them(Maegan and Paul) with my 3 other kids to the beach. I think they miss swimming. My aunt mentioned a place that is still clean and nearby. I'm seriously curious and considering it.

We're looking forward to May since May is my mom's birthmonth and is mine as well. Add the fact, that an aunt, and an uncle are coming home to visit my sick Aunt (who was diagnosed with breast cancer) so reunions are bound to happen.

We're just hoping that the party won't be happening at the house. It's too stressful and painful to clean house after a party. Plus, we lack entertainment for the visitors. Makes me wish I can save enough money for a new Magicsing.

What are your summer plans?

What's your move?

What's your move to save the planet?

It was Earth day, a few days back, and I may be late, but I hope I'm not too late in going green to help, even just a little.

I've been seeing this banner around but with my hectic life... and procastination issues, well, you know what happens.

I want my blog to be carbon neutral.

carbon neutral coupons with kaufDA.de
They plant a tree for your domain. Isn't that great? I hope the tree lives longer than my blog.
I know that there are a lot of people/bloggers out there who want to do something for the planet we all love and adore.

Wedding Anniversary

A wedding anniversary is the celebration of love, trust, partnership, tolerance and tenacity. The order varies for any given year.
Paul Sweeney

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.
Mignon McLaughlin

To my hubby:

Happy Anniversary! I am still amazed that you manage to stick with me for 5 years with no threat of divorce yet. Well, as we often talk about... I have a lot of lawyer friends. Thank you for sticking with me and I mean it. I am so glad that I got to spend my life as your wife and mother of our kids. Hopefully, 5 years from now, we can do a renewal of vows because Maegan is always crying that she wasn't invited to our wedding. I love you...to the infinity and beyond my hubby.

Happy Birthday Kharylle!

To my 3rd child Kharylle:

Happy Birthday Kharylle!
Time indeed flies so fast. I can still remember visiting your house and being overjoyed because my cousin and your mom were blessed with another daughter. I loved visiting and babysitting for a few minutes. How I enjoyed each time we came and you'd amaze us with something you learned. How you so easily understood things and we always knew that you are a smart kid, blessed with both beauty and brains. We so love the fact that you are shy but when it comes to family, your true colors shine. My dear, when you dream, dream big. I know you will be able to reach it. Always remain a good daughter to your parents. We will always be here for you, always ...always remember that.

Realizations:

Faced with challenges.. a lot of things to consider. What would you Realize?

  1. I realized that I am so fond of downloading digiscrap materials (kits, elements, and what nots) but I haven't been scrapping in such a long time that the collection has literally grown to tens of gigs and all on materials I don't use, don't know how or things I will never incorporate in a design.
  2. I like blogging but I don't have a tremendous future in it, in terms of earning from it. I can't devote the time and be an efficient housewife and houseparent.
  3. I am worried for my nieces and nephew. It will be a very trying school year next year, with the eldest worrying over college entrance exams and just trying to cope with everything.
  4. Needing to wake up early means giving up on sleeping late and blogging since I can only do my blogging activities (comment, read, drop, adgitize) when everyone else (including hubby (who shares the pc with me) are asleep.
  5. I dream of escape, to where, I don't know yet.

Letters That I'll Never Send: Just Write a Letter

Come and Join

ear Wanda, Cosmo and Poof,   D

Hi! Are you busy with Timmy today? Can you become my fairy godparents? I badly need one. I just want to be able to provide better for my kids. I'm getting crazy over the spending that needs to be done this coming school year. I think I am not prepared in having both of them in school. It's just driving me crazy. Plus, I have 3 other kids to take care of, oh my, it's beginning to become overwhelming. Kane is gonna be a senior, Kyle a sophomore and Kharylle on the 3rd grade. Wow, I'm a parent of 5 kids.

Kane and I need an all-in-one printer. I hope you can provide that. I'm getting tempted to put up a tutorial center of some sort to get that much needed extra income. But I have no talent whatsoever so hey can I wish that one too?

SM Rosales is having a sale this coming weekend. It may be a good time to buy school stuff and clothes for my ever growing kids. Summer is here and they have no 'going out' clothes that are fit to wear in this weather. Can I wish that one too? If not, just some funds to do some shopping will do.

That's all for now. Catch you later at Nickelodeon. Paul and Maegan will be watching.

Letters That I'll Never Send: My Summer Plans for you

Dear Maegan and Paul,

Our summer plans for you are headed in the same direction. Your grandma, your dad and I have decided to prepare you both. I hope you are having fun in Music Time with Teacher Ruchel. I think your enjoyment is shown when you do your little performances at home. Next week, I hope that you'll be enjoying her storytelling time and begin your adventures in reading with her. I know you'll learn a whole lot more from her than you will ever know from me. I am hoping that we can go to the beach at least once. For sure, we'll be busy as the coming school year will come and both of you will attending school. Such a big change for the mom who loves to sleep in during mornings. But I promise to try my best. I guess, it's my main reason for doing this summer, to get you and me used to the idea of rushing off in the morning. I also hope that I can prepare you guys for the coming of your other grandparents. There will be lots of reunions and I hope you guys learn to behave, and be sociable specially you Ate Maegan. You're so supladita.  I hope that you my dear Paul will have better pronunciation by then, well, I love you how you to talk even if at times I don't understand what you're saying.

Mommy Moments: Shoes

mommy moments

These are my kids shoes, most of them are given to them by doting aunts, grandparents, and godparents. As far as I can remember, I've only bought house slippers for them, and one sandals for Maegan. I got lucky there. I kept all of the gifts we received throughout occasions and they get to use them now. Honestly, the top shoes are the favorites of Maegan, but in reality it is still too big for her feet. She just enjoys running in them now and then since they light up and she's addicted to shoes that light up.
Paul's shoes are mostly gifts as well. When we go out, he picks out this pair of green shoes always. I think he feels comfortable in them whether he's wearing socks or not.

What are your kids favorite shoes? Care to share? Click on the button above.

Becoming a YA

I've turned into a young adult once more. Have you heard of this series?

YA stands for Young Adult. I think I've reversed the hands of time and turned into one again. There is this series, which was about to debut last weekend that kept showing itself each time I tuned into AXN. The anime is based on a Manga of almost the same title and while I was flipping channels on the remote, I accidentally landed on Animax and the show was just starting.
Suffice to say, that I was blown away and shocked that I really liked it. Well, when I become obsessed, I become obsessed. So I had to ask the expert on young adulthood, my niece and learned that indeed I just caught the premiere and she's addicted too.

No idea what I'm talking about?
It's the newest series of Animax, shown on Sundays at 8:30. Manila,Philippines Time.(GMT+8)
It's MAIDSAMA!

Student council president, Misaki Ayuzawa, works part-time at a maid cafĂ© which contradicts with her ‘no-nonsense, tough-talking’ reputation at her high school dominated by males. When her secret is discovered by Takumi Usui – the most popular guy in school – she is bewildered when he keeps it a secret but this is merely the start of his merciless teasing of her...

There's about 40+chapters of the manga, and it's just a new anime. I'm curious to how it ends. I feel as if I'm enjoying Hana Yori Dango all over again. I wouldn't mind if they turned this into a 'teleserye' or a tv series with human actors.

What about you? Have you seen this? Have you read it?

LettersThat I'll Never Send: Happy Easter!

Dear Reader,

I loved how the parish priest explained our celebration of Easter. Easter Sunday isn't about the bunny. Easter is the cornerstone, or the foundation of my Catholic religion. I can't recite verbatim what the priest said, but for Catholics, Easter is very important because it is the fact that the Lord has risen which makes him God, not a mere mortal, and that makes all the difference. So, to everyone, I hope you had a very meaningful Holy Week and that you had a great celebration on Easter. Personally, I think we should celebrate Easter more joyously than Christmas, but that's just an opinion.

I made me some blinkies!

Yep! You read that grammatically wrong sentence correctly!

I was just so happy. I got obsessing over something again, and I did it!

Of course, they are nothing compared to the goddesses of the design world Kaye and others.
I am a mere mortal, playing with my pc and trying to relax.
I can already see the design flaws of most of the ones I've made, but I'm still happy.

and last, but my favorite of them all...

Since I'm into blinkies and playing around with my photos, I also thought that I'd share some of these as well.

These are collages that are easily made, all you have to do is upload your photos, and background paper if you have them and voila! Instant desktop wallpaper, plus you can specify your size. The program also actually recognizes the current size of your screen so no worries about that. In case, you're interested in creating your own photo collages, go to Photovisi and have fun! In case you do, come back and tell me, I'd love to see your creations from the site.

Just when...

Just when I am about to give up, I get an award!
