Letters That I'll Never Send

Letters That I'll Never Send

Dear Pedring (also known as the Storm that flooded the place),

First and foremost, I dislike your name. It sounds like something I'd call my husband when I'm old. Folks are still reeling and remembering Ondoy and here you are now. It's a sad time and you've made it worse. I just heard that now the dam near our place is releasing water and a lot of the places here is already flooded. Nueva Ecija, Bicol Regions, Manila, Pangasinan certainly Calasiao and Dagupan are experiencing flooding in all areas. Do you know what's worse? There's another storm coming. It's so depressing. A lot of our countrymen are experiencing hardships because of storms. A lot has lost their homes, property, and even loved ones. They may do a lot of forecasts, predict a lot of things but truly no one is ever really truly prepared when a storm comes. I hope that you don't cause hardships to more places. Goodbye!

Letters That I'll Never Send Reloaded #3

It's The 3rd Thursday of the month, today's letters are supposed to be for kids.

My dear children,

Today is a very important day for our family. It is the birthday of your father. Yes, finally Daddy Pedz is the same age again with mommy. Mommy is beginning to feel so ancient. We are glad that daddy has reached the age of 31, as he jokingly said, he may be at the end of the calendar, but don't forget he will still be at the lotto, and even in bingo.

We are also celebrating the 18th anniversary of the company your grandmother put up. Hopefully, one or both of you will be interested in running it in the future. It may be little but at least it has survived18 years, and you should always be proud of that.

So to Mama...Happy Anniversary! God Bless and More Power (that's what you kids are going to say) and to Daddy, a Very Happy Birthday . Tell Daddy that his present is going to be given on Christmas as mommy is currently broke right now.

Don't forget to give the cards you made and lots of kisses and hugs. Plus, I hope you remember what reviewed since it is your last day of exams tomorrow. Good Luck Kiddos!

Letters That I'll Never Send Reloaded!

What: Letters That I'll Never Send Meme

The Letters That I'll Never Send Meme is a weekly meme where you get to write about anything. No more Topics assigned except for the 3rd week of every month where I ask you to write to a child/your child/children. I'm a Mom and I love writing letters to my kids and my nieces and nephews.

When: Thursdays

Why: I love writing. I find it as something which is therapeutic specially when I've had a very challenging day. I love to write letters and read letters.

How: As much as possible I would like the letters to be positive letters and not rants. I also try to avoid profanities as much as possible. Let's make our letters something that we can take pride in, even if these letters won't be sent. Write your letter, leave the link here, visit others and leave comments to their letters. That's it!

By the way, you have to post the button for me to recognize that it is your entry for the week's Letters That I'll Never Send

We have 2 new buttons to choose from!

The other one is this:

Dear Readers

Dear Readers,

Why do I only have a few participants? Are you finding writing about my blog difficult? I have a suggestion, to get at least 1 entry, you can always choose to write about the 10 LETTERS That I'll Never Send themes. That, by far is the easiest to do. Just give me 10 themes or topics that everyone can write about. That simple. Feel free to click on the other entries to have an idea, but please do not copy their work. They thought hard of what they're going to write.

Lucky for you guys, the contest is running a little longer. How's your day so far? Try the Story Time for Me giveaway, it's an interactive ebook where you and your child ages 1-8 can appreciate. All it takes is a few minutes to register, you can browse the available free books and I am giving out the coupon code where you can get 2 more storybook credits, you can also get 5 more if you follow the instructions found at my post. Look for it at the sidebar.

Plus, there's the domain giveaway. My pay it forward for my joy when I received this domain from Calvin's Hub.   He also has a mini-giveaway involving Lenovo, if you join his mini-contest now, you might win a laptop on December so check out his site.

There are more contests/giveaways like Funky feet contest and Barney Live at Make or Break. I think there's also that contest by at Happy Thoughts Happy Tot. There's also Burn's Birthday Bash, Mouth's Delight and a whole lot more so come on guys, want to win a lot of stuff? Look for the contests and good luck!

Thank you to all my sponsors. Without you, the contest would not have been possible. Thank you also to those who would have wanted to sponsor. I apologize since I got dizzy putting up mechanics and other things I have forgotten to ask. No worries, it's the thought that counts. Perhaps, if these giveaways are successful I can start an earlier campaign for next year. Again, thank you.

Letters That I'll Never Send: Dear Movie Director:

Can't write a long letter. Struggling with the keyboard. My right hand is in a sling of some sort.

Dear Movie Director:

I hope that there will be more movies that will touch me to the core. Make my kids laugh, make me cry, make my hubby cringe in fright, delight in action sequences that totally blow up a lot of things. More of stories like lord of the rings, harry potter, narnia, and percy jackson. Great kids movies that my kids would love and appreciate now. That's all.

Letters That I'll Never Send: Just Write a Letter

Come and Join

ear Wanda, Cosmo and Poof,   D

Hi! Are you busy with Timmy today? Can you become my fairy godparents? I badly need one. I just want to be able to provide better for my kids. I'm getting crazy over the spending that needs to be done this coming school year. I think I am not prepared in having both of them in school. It's just driving me crazy. Plus, I have 3 other kids to take care of, oh my, it's beginning to become overwhelming. Kane is gonna be a senior, Kyle a sophomore and Kharylle on the 3rd grade. Wow, I'm a parent of 5 kids.

Kane and I need an all-in-one printer. I hope you can provide that. I'm getting tempted to put up a tutorial center of some sort to get that much needed extra income. But I have no talent whatsoever so hey can I wish that one too?

SM Rosales is having a sale this coming weekend. It may be a good time to buy school stuff and clothes for my ever growing kids. Summer is here and they have no 'going out' clothes that are fit to wear in this weather. Can I wish that one too? If not, just some funds to do some shopping will do.

That's all for now. Catch you later at Nickelodeon. Paul and Maegan will be watching.

LettersThat I'll Never Send: Happy Easter!

Dear Reader,

I loved how the parish priest explained our celebration of Easter. Easter Sunday isn't about the bunny. Easter is the cornerstone, or the foundation of my Catholic religion. I can't recite verbatim what the priest said, but for Catholics, Easter is very important because it is the fact that the Lord has risen which makes him God, not a mere mortal, and that makes all the difference. So, to everyone, I hope you had a very meaningful Holy Week and that you had a great celebration on Easter. Personally, I think we should celebrate Easter more joyously than Christmas, but that's just an opinion.

Untitled Letter

Dear Me the Fool,

Discontentment is now filling my world again. Hmm, maybe time to join Ms.Bambie's contest and win me a blog makeover. I'm so tempted to delete my blog and start from scratch. No joke, even if it's April Fools Day today. You should ask Calvin and Sir G., both witness to the numerous times I'd delete my blog and start from scratch. The coming school year would be a trying one for me. It will be the first time that both kids will enter school. Will blogging still be in the picture? I'm also facing the reality that if I never win any contest again, then how in the world am I going to pay for my domain? Hmm... It's time to rethink my blogging options. Perhaps going to a blogspot address again? Goodbye, cruel blogging world? Could that be the answer?
As promised, here's the Mcklinky and there's the Mcklinky.

To: Letters That I'll Never Send Participants

Dear Reader,

A comment made by Cacai got me thinking. I was wondering why she termed the question that way, that I was transferring letters that I'll never send to a blogspot address. Then it hit me. I give link love to those who participate in my blog which already has a pr  of 2, to those participants who take the time to write their letters. Is transferring the meme with poor participants to a blogspot address with no pr seem like a punishment to the meager number of participants who do bother?

So, check out the poll, or leave your comments here.

I want to do what's best for the blog and for the readers, and participants as well.

Definitely, a redefinition of what my blog is about has got to happen. It's time to decide pretty soon.

Letters That I'll Never Send: Dear HighSchool Crush

Letters That I'll Never Send

Today's Theme is: Dear HighSchool Crush

Dear Highschool Crush,

I was glad that you were in my life, it made highschool much more fun. I looked for you everyday. Got to cloud nine when you spoke to me. Looking back now, I just laugh at all the drama then. Having a crush on you was both frustrating and happy. You never see me. I'm almost invisible. But that's me. You always shone in my eyes (or so I thought). I'm keeping this short since this entry is late. Just thanks.

Letters That I'll Never Send:

Welcome to Letters That I'll Never Send:
Today's Topic/Theme:  A Letter To A Child
Thank you for reading.
If you want to participate, just grab the button and leave the link to your post at the bottom.
Thanks!

Dear Maegan and Paul (the monster kids),

Here I am, taking a break from you and from the reviews. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there would be a long, long, extension. Distractions are all around me. You should know that even when I get cross with the both of you, since you two always find a way to double team me, I still love you, even when I'm grumpy, even when I'm shouting already. I'm sorry, you actually deserve a better mom. I'm not a good mom and I've admitted that already about a million and one times. I will keep learning. You two are so different from each other but you get jealous too much of each other, I seem to not be able to find the middle ground. Well, all I really want to say is I love you. Take care of your dad for me, take care of your grandparents too. If you grow old, love each other and stick out for one another. That's all I have to say for now, as I go run my village to relax my mind. Mwah. I love you Bosyong and Basyang (hahaha! Will I get reprimanded if you read this in the far future) I have to convince you Maegan to go back to school first. (Lol!) I love you Basyang. You make my day when you joke around and say 'Yes sir Mommy!' which little Paul parrots. I love you Bosyong. You made my day when you told mommy that you love me. It's the first time I ever heard you say it. Thanks Paul.

Letters that I'll Never Send: To Kaye & Pehpot

Dear Kaye & Pehpot,

I didn't expect that I will be writing this to you but since most of the posts I've made for this month mentions both of you, I guess it almost sounds logical. Anyway, this is supposed to be a letter of appreciation. I think without your blog contest, most of my entries for this month would have been forced with cheesiness (as if I'm not cheesy) and all the romantic things that involve love. Instead, I am glad to be learning more of new bloggers that I would have not encountered had I not joined your contest. I love that my writing skills are being honed, I am in doubt whether they have improved but at least I gave it my best shot. I am constantly rooting for Niko, Chris and Kikamz and Tetcha too. I've also enjoyed receiving reviews. Hopefully, if I earn some money or when I do, I can get to make a contest or draw a prize from those who painstakingly reviewed my blog. What I'm really saying is, since I think I'm doing a roundabout... Thank you. I've learned so much more about my blog and how it appears to other people. Your contest widened my horizons and made me learn that nothing is lost in trying. For that, I thank both of you so much.

Letters That I'll Never Send: To Someone I Love

Dear Labs,

It's been a while since I wrote you any letters. Rummaging through the closet, the last time I wrote anything was for a Christmas card last year. Rummaging my old closet, I found your loveletters. I laugh now at all the assurances you gave me in your letters. It just goes to show how insecure I was. I remember the issues I would protest about, like not meeting your parents yet, or the announcement that I'm the new gf. I kept badgering you if any of your siblings knew of my existence. It all seems so petty now. We faced a lot of issues, long distance relationship and all that. I know that sometimes we failed, but then love perseveres and here we are. 12 years later, still together, still going strong, right now, I do believe it's better than ever. I want to thank you for staying. I want to thank you for accepting. I want to thank you for being. I love you. You should know that. To the infinity and beyond.

Letters That I'll Never Send: Dear Prom Date

Dear Jason,

Hi! Remember me? You look handsome as ever. Glad to see that you are now in a relationship and you totally look cute together. I enjoyed looking at your photos and you were wearing couples shirts...so cheesy. Well, I picked this topic and all I have to say is that I enjoyed my senior prom better than my junior prom and the funny thing is, I had so much fun with you, a sophomore, a kid like no other for me except Randall (ang kulit ng tandem niyo). I laughed a lot. I think my other friends, ' the unpretty ones' like me were jealous because you were attentive, kind and was an escort anyone would have glad to have hooked. Oh, I enjoyed the fact that we were the first to arrive, had dozens of photo opps, but I guess my mom didn't appreciate receiving a bunch of bananas for being the first pair to arrive. Oh well, highschool life. Thanks for that. I enjoyed the practices too. I remember laughing about how surprised you were that you were taller than me and I was a senior already. I also remember you trying to surprise me, but hey, I knew it was you since when you cover my eyes and ask who it is, your voice is pretty much recognizable...lol! I hope your doing fine, and well, Good Luck in life.

P.S. Those curious of how lucky I got during the prom, here's a pic I stole from his friendster account. I hope no one sees this entry. hahaha.

Letters That I'll Never Send: Dear Reader

Dear Reader,

Hi! If you're a Letters that I'll Never Send participant, thank you. If you're reading this as you pass by, thanks a lot too! For participants, I have something new in store for you, and I know that you're probably busy doing Girls Talk, but hey I love that carnival too. Oh, I lost my tirade... let me restart. I am now offering a new twist to these letters. As I get bored by writing about my dictates, then here's a chance for you. I have decided to make every 3rd Thursday of the month a free for all. In short, write a letter, any letter, whether it's a rant, a rave, secret love letter, you name it ... you can do it on the 3rd Thursday of the month! All I ask in return is that you leave a link to your wonderful post at the mcklinky in the end of this post? Capish?

If this becomes a hit and I get more participants....keep your fingers crossed and we'll do it twice a week. I'm so tempted to make at least 1 week about letters to kids. I really need to start plowing on with my advices/tips/guides to my kids while I'm still strong. I feel the signs of old age creeping in slowly as I turn 3...oh ... soon.

Well, that's it. I'm keeping this short.
Remember: every 3rd Thursday of the month, write a letter, any topic. Post it here!
Thanks!
